The Design Process

Initially you need to find a suitable design. This may be something you have done yourself, an idea drawn out on a piece of paper, or you may have found a design from a book of plans or self build literature and websites.  If you have a clear idea of what you want before you get your plans drawn up, you will save a lot of money on re-designing fees. We thoroughly recommend you use a local architect, not only for the design expertise, but for the convenience of site visits, and their knowledge of local building materials and planning requirements.

From then on we offer a fully bespoke service that will enable you to maintain complete control over all of the key decisions throughout, from the design and layout of the building down to your choice of windows and doors etc.

Our frames are designed using a tailor made CAD program that draws and constructs whatever you need for your project. By archiving all of your company details and techniques, you are then able to freely access existing elements and components within the drawing area either two-dimensionally or three-dimensionally. It will draw outlines, dimensions views and number components, stud spacing, insulation, joining and cutting according to the requirements of your company. This in turn aids the planning stage, for example as far as allowing for maximum transport lengths and heights etc.
